Beekeeper with Honeycomb

Carl

Carl Jurica was many things in his beautiful life. He was a wondrous man full of ideas, full of hope, curiosity, determination, love, and much much more

Please read below

We wrote this about Carl after he passed for all visitors to his home to see. A couple of people removed it before anyone was able to read it so we hope that now, here, it can be read; in remembrance of Carl. If you knew him you will know these words to be true. If you knew him well you will feel these words are your own:

The man who lived here was probably the most unique and interesting person you could ever meet. He was an author, animal lover, teacher, Phd doctor, athlete, coach, artist, home brewer, brother, uncle, musician, master bee keeper, master gardener, scholar, chemist, champion Polka dancer, woodsman, avid reader, bicyclist, dear friend, and the smartest person I ever knew. He had more knowledge and intelligence than any 5 people and he was always willing to share it with anyone who wanted to learn. He was a people person, he loved to just sit and talk. If you had the privilege to know him he would treat you like you were his best friend in the whole world. Once you met him you were a friend for life. You could show up here any time of the day and if he was home he would welcome you in and tell you to have a seat and talk for a while. He was eccentric and old fashioned which added to his charm. If you stopped by to ask if he wanted to go out for a bite to eat or an ice cream he would drop everything and go with you. He was even known on occasion to get out of bed for a late night snack at Summer’s Best Ice Cream. I could go on for hours but I think you understand what I’m trying to say. He was a wonderful, kind man and he will be greatly missed by everyone who met him.
